One Direction will be appearing in a Pepsi advert, which will debut this week, with American footballer Drew Brees.

A clip shows 1D's Harry Styles and Brees in a head-to-head competition for a drinks can, before the NFL star performs with the group.

"If you look at the stars that have worked in the past on the Pepsi ads we feel massively lucky to be involved really," said Louis Tomlinson.

The ad is part of the company's "Live for Now" campaign, which has also featured Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry.
