Downton Abbey star Joanne Froggatt says there are lots of storylines to unravel in the third series of the popular show.

The actress who plays Head Housemaid Anna Bates said that she enjoys sitting down to watch the show because she forgets the different storylines.

Frogratt said: "I enjoy watching it myself because there's bsit I'd forgotten.

"You don't see everyones scenes being filmed so although you know the story you don't see it until the end product, so it's exciting for us as well," she added.

The period drama is also in the running for several Primetime Emmy Awards in the US, the ceremony is on September 23rd.
