K-pop girlband T-ARA promote their concert in Hong Kong

Report by Lauren Hood

Korean girlband T-ARA shook off their recent "bullying" controversy and arrived in Hong Kong, in preparation for their first showcase.

The girls have been lying low after fans were outraged by management's decision to fire member Hwayoung in July, due to her work ethics and attitude.

But they are now back with a mini-album Mirage and a showcase of their music, for which all 3000 tickets have sold out.

The band was reportedly paid 700 million Korean won to perform at the concert.
