Victoria Pendleton has been talking about fellow Olympian Jessica Ennis wanting to "one day take part in Strictly", at the launch party for the tenth series of the show.

"I spoke to Jess Ennis and she said she loves the show and would love to do it in the future," the gold medallist said.

"If I'm lucky she may even turn out to support me in the audience!"

The now retired track cyclist added: "Im really enjoying a different kind of training. With the Olympics ending it's nice to have some routine back in my life."

The new series of Strictly Come Dancing starts on Saturday.
