Miley Cyrus hit the red carpet at the MTV VMA's in LA on Thursday night, and couldn't wait to talk about her new shaved short hair.

"People are so scared to cut their hair, so that's why people seem to think it's such a big deal that I have," she said

"For me right now it's all about the face, my face, that's it".

Other big names that have joined Miley to cut their famous locks include Alicia Keys and Rihanna.

Jessie J is expected to be going one step further in the coming weeks, by shaving her hair off totally for charity.
