Rihanna debuted her new short pixie hair cut at the MTV VMA's in LA last night.

The star wore a full length backless white gown and looked radiant with her new much shorter hair.

She opened the show with an electrifying performance of her songs Cockiness and We Found Love, accompanied by Calvin Harris.

Rihanna also bagged herself the biggest award of the night, for Best Video Of The Year, with her song We Found Love.

She said: "Thankyou so much VMA's. Rihanna Navy I love you, it's you and me till the end."
