Downton Abbey star Allen Leech has revealed what fans can expect from the exciting new series.

He said: "World War One brought so much drama to the show and to the characters and you really see the aftermath in the next series.

"It really is only once the War has gone that everything changes for them. Especially for my character Branson, he is stuck in a really strange place," he added.

Downton Abbey returns to our screem on September 16.
