After Kye Sones wowed the X Factor judges on Saturday night when he sung a rendition of guest judge Rita Ora's song RIP, he has revealed he now owes the singer a drink to say thanks.

Kye admitted to being terrified of performing Rita's song in front of the star but said he was incredibly relieved when she responded with praise.

Kye revealed that if he was going to take Rita on a date, he would take the artist to Chessington World of Adventures.

The chimney sweep singer said he was finding his new found fame amusing, especially when he drives in his van and other cars beep at him.

The X Factor contestant reportedly used to front a band once signed by Sony Music.
