One Direction have had their meteoric rise to fame documented in a new comic book.

The boys' lives have been outlined in the popular Fame biography series, beginning with their first meeting on X Factor.

The group made chart history when they became the first UK group in US chart history to debut at number one with their first album, and join the likes of Katy Perry, Cher and Madonna in being immortalised in the Fame series.
