New Dallas star Jesse Metcalfe has spoken about being prepared for the new level of fame the hit show is going to bring him.

"I have been in this business for 13 years, so whatever comes my way, I am prepared for," he said.

He added: "I am not expecting my life to change that much. I just stay grounded and focus on my work."

Dallas stars, old and new, gathered in London to celebrate the return of the hit US soap opera.

The ten-part series about the struggles of the oil-rich Ewing clan will air in the UK on Channel 5 next month.
