Xtra Factor presenter Olly Murs has defended judge Tulisa, after Lord Sugar attacked her on Twitter. The Apprentice star questioned her credentials.

"I don't know why he said it," Olly said.

Speaking at the V Festival, he added: "Tulisa has every right to be on the judging panel. She has been in the music industry for years and has had loads of success.

"She is doing what she knows about. When it comes to the work place stuff, that's Sir Alan's area, so she leaves that alone."

Olly will be hosting The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack on ITV2 from October.
