Arnold Schwarzenegger says being an actor helped his career as Governor of California.

He's currently starring in Expendables 2 with an-all star cast including Sylvester Stallone and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

He revealed that his Hollywood career was definitely of use when he went into politics, saying "In acting you have to connect with the people".

Arnie added: "It helps with giving speeches and communicating with people in politics.

"Also you work so much on the way you deliver the lines."
