A South Korean pop singer's latest music video Gangnam Style has become a viral hit after amassing 20 million views on Youtube.

The video, sang by Psy, has been viewed more than 26 million times since mid-July, making it more virally successful than Justin Bieber's latest video.

Psy, whose real name is Park Jai-sang, said he just wanted the song to be "full of gusto".

Known for his brash style, catchy beat and kitschy antics, Psy specialises in high-energy and outrageous performances.

"My goal in this music video was to look uncool from the beginning to the end. I achieved it. The video does not look cool at all from the beginning to the end," Psy said.
