Sesame Street residents Elmo, Abby Cadabby and Grover have been getting into the Olympic spirit by posing like Jamaican star Usain Bolt.

The sprinter's iconic lightning bolt celebration has been a highlight of London 2012.

The trio were treated to some Olympic action in the shape of the women's football final.

"We saw the women's football team, we saw that last night," Elmo said.

"Yes, USA won, yes, the gold," Grover added.

Abby said: "Canada got the bronze, it was very exciting, very emotional."
