Jessica Biel has been speaking about her new film Total Recall and says she wasn't initially a fan of the original 1990 version.

The actress said: " I didn't grow up wth it in my teenage years watching it every night. That was Dirty dancing for me, if you want to get really dorky. Love me some Patrick Swayze. But I actually became a fan as I got older and could really see the brilliance in what it was."

Biel stars as a secret agent alongside Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale in the sci-fi action film, which is out in UK cinemas on August 29.

The American actress had a couple of fight scenes and said it could be awkward fighting objects that weren't there: "When you're doing it, you actually feel like 'oh god, is this even working?' and then you see it on screen with sound effects and everything. It blows your mind".
