As the start of the new series of The X Factor draws closer, a teaser trailer has been released.

Instead of giving us a sneak peak of the auditions this year, the video shows some of The X Factor's biggest stars talking about their experiences on the show.

One Direction, Little Mix, Olly Murs, Leona Lewis, JLS and Alexandra Burke give touching accounts on how the show has changed their lives.

The winner of the third series, Leona Lewis said: "It was so exciting, a big learning experience for me. It has been the most unforgettable experience."

Despite coming third, One Direction are undoubtedly one of the biggest acts to come out of the show.

Liam Payne said: "When we first stepped out those doors and you realise there are millions of people at home watching, that is always going to be the biggest memory for me."

The X Factor returns to our screens this Autumn.
