Break-out pop star Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed what she thought about Katy Perry's impression of her chart-topping song Call Me Maybe.

The singer says she was "pretty excited" when she saw the parody, which Katy recorded while at music festival Coachella.

Carly said: "It was just so cool. At Coachella. She was a little hippie. I loved it".

The 26-year-old added that she is a big supporter of Katy Perry's music.
