Action movie legend Dolph Lundgren has teased fans, hinting that they can expect a third instalment of the Expendables franchise.

The second of the films is set to hit cinemas on August 17, and features a stellar cast including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Randy Couture, Jet Li, Chuck Norris, Jason Statham, Liam Hemsworth and Jean-Claude Van Damme, as well as Dolph himself.

"It will be interesting to see what Sly comes up with on the third movie," said Dolph, speaking at Comic Con in San Diego.

Randy, who also appeared at the event, said: "Stallone is the boss."

"He's the one that comes up with the ideas. But we've been talking about some different new ideas and trying to come up with something fresh. But yeah, I think it's in the works maybe," he added.
