Perez Hilton revealed he did not think Rihanna would be going to rehab despite recent speculation suggesting this was a possibility.

The celebrity blogger said the singer's partying ways had not affected her work so rehab looked unlikely.

Perez commented: "If she can go out, have fun and turn up for work then great. She's been turning up and I have not been hearing any negative things about her."

The showbiz writer also commented on the British press and said: "British journalists love starting drama. I know a thing or two about that but I try to be a bit more positive these days."

Hilton is hosting a charity event at the Electric Brixton on Friday July 13 to raise money for The Brit Trust.
