Speaking at her premiere, Katy Perry said she was living her fairy tale ending but admitted “life isn’t always lollipops and gum drops.”

Katy added: “Sometimes life hands you a pile of poo and you just have to deal with it.”

The singer has been experiencing relationship heartache, after her husband Russell Brand filed for divorce after just 14 months last year.

Katy documents the breakdown of her marriage in her big screen movie Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D.

Katy Perry: Part of Me is due in cinemas in the US and UK on 5 July.
