Russell Brand has hit the red carpet in Los Angeles to celebrate the upcoming premiere of his new television series Brand X.

When asked to describe his comedy series he said: "It's a word and a letter, or a bunch of letters, that signify a television program that is an honest account and appraisal of my interaction with the world."

Also at the event was Charlie Sheen who was promoting his show Anger Management.

Brand X is on FX later this week.
