Jersey Shore stars Nicole Polizzi and Jenni Farley have opened up about being targetted by online trolls.

"We're probably the number one celebrities that are bullied," Nicole said.

The girls, also known as Snooki and JWoww, rose to fame on the hit reality series based in New Jersey.

The pair revealed despite being stars of the popular MTV show they face a lot of abuse on Twitter.

Speaking as they promote their new show Snooki and JWoww, Jenni said: "We're bullied daily… you should see the hate mail."

Nicole added: "I get death threats, 'go kill yourself', I'm like, 'nah!'"
