While promoting new film People Like Us, Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks had a jokey argument over which franchise is better, The Hunger Games or Star Trek.
Banks argued The Hunger Games gave a more realistic account of the future and said: "Yeah, a dystopia where we all kill each other. I'd say more realistic where I'm going.”
"It doesn't involve alien life, though. So once you throw aliens into the mix, I would say it's all up in the air. Who knows?" The actress commented.
Pine noted: "Well 'The Hunger Games' is certainly one way of looking at it . Yeah I think children killing children is a really, erm, it's a wonderful thing to put out there. It's that or it's a crew of men and women of different cultures?"
Talking about Star Trek Banks replied: "Wearing really tight outfits. Really tight. They just have no room for loose, baggy clothing in the future in space.”
People Like Us is due in theatres on June 29.
