Kim Kardashian has told Oprah Winfrey it is "ridiculous" to think her mother, Kris Jenner, is "pimping" her out.

Speaking on Oprah's Next Chapter and joined by siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Robert, Kim defended the way their mother markets the family, saying that regardless of who it was they "would need to hire a manager".

Kim said: "No one will fight harder for you than your own mother.

"She knows us, she knows all of our moods. We just get each other."

When asked if they ever felt exploited by Kris Jenner, all four Kardashians responded by saying "never".

The interview will air in the US in two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, June 17 on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network.
