Ed Sheeran has spoken out about the song Moments, a track he wrote for One Direction.

"I wrote it when I was 15", he said, "but I just knew then it was for a boyband".

"I'm friends with the guys so when they said they needed a song for their album, I knew it would perfect."

Moments was on 1D's album, Up All Night.
