Snoop Dogg: 'Gaming keeps me young'

Report by Melissa Nathoo

Rapper Snoop Dogg has revealed playing video games keeps him feeling young.

"I'm a grown man but I still feel like I'm a kid at heart because I'm able to play games and buy games and still be associated with games," Snoop said.

The rapper has created a track called Tekken for the forthcoming video game Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

He also makes a cameo appearance in the game.

It is not the first time Snoop has lent himself to a computer game. He has also featured in True Crime: Streets of LA and Def Jam: Fight for NY.

"I've been associated with a couple of fighting games over the years, but this has probably been the most official because Tekken is one of the elite," Snoop admitted.

"No disrespect to any of the other games that I've done, but this game has been around for almost 20 years or more, so for me to be connected with it is a beautiful thing."

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is set for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September.
