With the UK version of The X Factor still missing a permanent fourth judge, Usher has been speaking about whether he would be interested in taking the role.

The star, who was speaking at the E3 conference in Los Angeles where he launched Dance Central 3 for the Xbox, said he is not ruling it out.

"I never say [whether] I'll be good or bad at anything, but presented [with] an opportunity to mentor someone, might be cool," he explained.

He has already featured on the US show after Simon Cowell invited him to mentor the contestants last year.

Usher's new album, Looking 4 Myself, is released in the UK on June 11.
