Cameron Diaz has confirmed she would consider adoption when she finally decides to start her own family.

The Hollywood star is currently talking bumps and babies as she promotes new comedy What To Expect When You're Expecting.

"I love kids and I'll have my own however that may come," Cameron said.

"Through... giving birth or adopting or having a partner who has a child, some way it will come into my life when it's meant to."

Diaz, 39, stars as a fitness television host who falls pregnant with Matthew Morrison's character, a celebrity dancer.

"We both know how we feel about children, this movie didn't sort of inform us on that.

"We kind of knew going in and leaving as well," she said.
