This amazing underwater footage captures the moment a bottlenose dolphin was saved by a diver in Hawaii, after it got caught in a fishing line.

This amazing video shows the dolphin swimming up to one of the divers named Laros, and pushing into him - which he interpreted as a call for help.

The dolphin allowed Laros to cut the fishing line and attempt to free a hook that was in its pectoral fin.

When the fishing line was removed the mammal went to get air but then came back to Laros who went to work to try to cut the hook from the fin.

After several more minutes the dolphin swam away.
