Australia has broken the Guinness World Record for the highest number of burnouts at the same time.

The record breaking event happened in Canberra.

More than 10,000 people turned out to witness the 69 cars simultaneously spinning their tyres for 30 seconds.

Local media said it took months to organise the attempt.

More than 200 people were involved in making it happen.
