The London Comic Con kicked off on Friday, opening its doors to thousands of anime, comic book and video game fans.
The Movies Comic Media Expo (MCM) is a bi-annual convention held at London's ExCeL venue, and is the largest pop culture convention in the UK.
Attendees of the show can browse stalls full of merchandise, watch panels with stars of cult TV shows and get early hands-on time with upcoming video games.
At this year's convention Nintendo are showcasing their new Wii U games console, which will be the first chance many have had to play with the system ahead of the November launch.
The winners of the EuroCosplay Championships will also be announced during the expo, with organisers providing a mini studio for those who attend in costume to have their photos taken.
It is expected that more than 60,00 people will attend this year's MCM, making it the largest-ever event since it was first held in 2002.
