South African photographers have caught the moment a herd of impala run straight into a waiting leopard.
Martha van Rensburg & Marius van Tonder caught the incredible strike on camera after half an hour of dutifully waiting for the leopard to make its move.
In the video, a herd of impala off camera are startled and begin to run straight at the big cat, whose camoflague makes it almost impossible to see even though the camera is focussed on it.
The big cat simply has to pick a moment, and pounces straight up as one of the herd jumps over it.
Footage of the leopard arcing over backwards and plucking its prey out of the air has since gone viral online.
