What's thought to be the world's first liliger, a hybrid of a lion and a liger, has been born at a zoo in Russia's Siberia.

Little Kiara's dad is a lion and her mum is a liger, a hybrid of a tiger and a lion.

"This cub has just started growing and develop, her character has not even formed yet. But I'm confident she will be a calm, confident, strong animal," said head of the zoo's cat section Roza Solovyova.

The liliger is in quarantine at the moment but visitors should be able to see her in October.
