An unusually coloured cat has become an online sensation, attracting over a million views on YouTube.

Venus boasts a "split face" - clearly divided into half-black and half-orange with one green and one blue eye. According to a press release for Venus, it is believed the cat is a one of a kind.

Since becoming an unlikely star, "Venus" has uploaded a message to her Facebook page, reading: "We will be busy on a journey helping out my furry friends all over in many ways so we will be busy and not responding to the page as much for a short period."

Venus now has official representation, and early plans are to use her unique features to help raise awareness for organizations supporting animal rights.

Eventually, the hope is to have her paw prints set in cement in front of the Mann Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California.
