Rare white tiger cubs unveiled in Czech Republic

Report by Sam Datta-Paulin

A pair of extremely rare white tiger cubs have been unveiled in the Czech Republic.

The un-named cubs were born at Liberec Zoo - the first time the centre has managed to successfully breed the tigers.

White tigers are so rare because their colours do not allow them much camouflage in their natural Indian habitat.

In captivity, however, the cub's striking coats promise to be a major draw for tourists.
