A cabaret club which took three years to build and cost more than $125m is pulling in the crowds in Tokyo's red light district.
The Robot Restaurant's show features bikini clad girls and elaborate brightly coloured robots.
The robots include a plane which the girls hang off, a tank which they ride through the crowd on and giant bikini clad robot girls.
Robot Restaurant's owners say around half of their customers are women who come to experience the close encounters.
27-year-old Yuka Aoshika recently visited the club, she said: "The robot here was piloted by the dancers and it came really close. It was dangerous!"
