Wonky donkey has front legs set in casts

Report by Lindsay Brown

A cute donkey foal in Shropshire has had its legs put in casts as they are not yet fully developed.

Primrose was born prematurely which meant the bones in her legs are not fully developed.

Vets have had to set her two front legs in casts to support her bodyweight until they grow strong enough to hold her up.

Vet Kate Maxwell said: “Even in the few days that Primrose has been with us we’ve seen a great improvement in her condition – we’re confident she’ll make a full recovery."
