A driver in Massachusetts has had a lucky escape after his 30-foot-long motorhome plunged into his neighbour's swimming pool.

He was backing out of his driveway when he lost control of the vehicle, which then landed in the pool across the road.

Firefighters were able to get the driver out.

He was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

Two large diggers were brought in to remove the motorhome from the pool.

It is not know what led to the incident.
