Firefighters in China's Sichuan Province have innovatively rescued a man trapped in flood waters.

After trying to reach him with a rope and failing, they decided to tie a ladder to a digger.

It took less than 20 minutes for officials to rescue man.

He was then quickly taken to a local hospital for treatment.
