Daredevils BASE jump off world's highest bridge

China has held its first ever BASE jumping event on the world's highest bridge in in Anshun City, southwest China's Guizhou Province.

Around 30 people from across the globe took part in the challenge.

After jumping off the bridge, the parachute jumper falls 80 kilometers an hour before opening their parachute just about 100 meters above the ground.

With a 1,088-meter-long span and 2,237 meters in length, the competition terrain Balinghe Bridge is the world's highest suspension bridge with 375 meters' clearance above the river.
