The World Pea Shooting Championships have been held in Witcham in Cambridgeshire and the atmosphere was tense.
The event originally began as a way to raise funds for the village hall but proved so popular that it became an annual event.
The crowds may not have turned out in great numbers but the competitors have been taking it very seriously.
But despite the fierce competition children were permitted to join in on the fun.
The final shoot-out was close but father-of-two Rob Breslaw went home the winner.
