The owner of two brave goats in Orange County California, has taken them surfing on the Pacific Ocean.

Nanny goat Goatee and her kid Pismo, stood on surfboards and cruised on the water as bystanders watched in amazement.

Their owner, Dana McGregor, teamed up with surfers Mark and Debbie Gale to see if they could get both goats to ride on one board together.

Mark Gale said: "I've tried it with a dog, you see a lot of that, but a goat? Okay, I'm ready to give this a whirl. I think the tandem goat thing was a big success."

And according to owner Dana McGregor, the pair were naturals in the water: "They did a pretty good job. They caught the first wave and it was pretty good. I love surfing so I figured the goats would like surfing."
