CCTV footage has been released showing a 1.5km-long road barrier in China collapsing in the space of just 30 seconds.

Resembling a giant row of falling dominoes, it was apparently the second time in ten days that the structure had collapsed.

"The main reason is the strong wind as the dividing fences are not fixed to the ground," said deputy head of Jinhua traffic police, Shao Zhichang.

Officials say there are plans to install a new wind-resistant barrier by the end of July.
