Real-life Batman - The Dark Knight goes viral

A video featuring Batman (in real life) tearing around Cambridge on a fake motorbike has become a YouTube hit.

The star of the video has also got the gravelly voice down to a tee.

He performs his version of Christian Bale's famous line in Batman Begins: "It's not who you are underneath but what you do that defines you."

The video was uploaded at the end of June and it has already notched up nearly 700,000 as of July 6.

The third and final film in Christopher Nolan's Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises, hits cinemas on July 20.

It is also the last time Christian Bale will reprise the role..

The film has an all-star cast including Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), Michael Caine (Alfred), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake), Liam Neeson (Ra's Al Ghul), Tom Hardy (Bane) and Anne Hathaway (Catwoman).
